You end up finding a few minor problems, a missing screw and a spare nut; and no place to put it. Well that is what I kind of ran into today. I wanted to be able to have a performatted template posting form for the old pages, and to have a photo gallery plug-in that would "ride" within the posting template,… the extra time spent trying to set this up will save about 50 to 70 hours (minimum) of work and should speed up allowing Tom and myself adding new wreck galleries.

Well this all required a new plug-in that allows for multiple template (which I found and added earlier today) and then I found out the gallery plug-in doesn’t work correctly with the type of WordPress configurtion I have to work with,… so I need to spend a little more time working on that final plug-in.

In other news, I have already uploaded the photo galleries for the Alice G. and Sweepstakes,… these two wrecks will be the first ones back on line once I get the last of the bugs worked out,… So we are getting close

Well all the new plug-ins are completed, and the base configuration is now completed. The next task is the longest part of this job, and that is bring all the old content back on line and get it organized into the new CMS engine for easy reference. We had over a hundred different wrecks in this site, and over 2000 images,… not exactly a small task,… thankfully should not be a lengthy task to complete and I will try to get as much of the content back up and only as soon as possible

It’s the beginning of the beginning. With the use of some excellent design tools and the WordPress blogging format the redesign of ScubaQ has finally begun. You will have to excuse the Palm Trees at the bottom, I promise to get something more Scuba Diver-ish, but for now I think this will be the colour theme we will be going with.

There are some plug-ins that I need to add in, a special photo gallery plug-in, and two special WYSIWYG Editors (one for Tom and I to use and one for the comment section) I still need to add in a site counter. Hopefully I will have this done today, and I will start laying in the Shipwreck pages tonight and tomorrow,… Thanks to Tom, there is a lot of work, but I think it will be worth it.

So any thought, comments or suggestions would be more than welcome.
